  2. Yes I too think so...actually I had a strong feeling that these people were mere actors and not actual guards and this was more of a gimmick to attract tourists rather than some stringent royal routine..

  5. hey. that's really cool. n i think those gaurds r nakli. koyi bhi royal prossession tourist aane ke same pe kyon karega. bas unko attract karne ke liye karega. (My point of view. i dont if it's right.)

  6. But in support , we too have our very own lowering of flags ceremony at Wagah Border,Amritsar , that customary happens everyday at sunset and is such a huge tourist attraction.

    But yes there are many points against this royal guard ceremony that hints of it being more of a tourist attracting gimmick then having a real purpose :)
