Such a strange thing called ...(I will say Life :))...... At one time you want to hear some people say "Have a nice day..." to you and at other time when they do say, instead of replying by saying "Same to you" with a smile, the first word that comes to your mind is "Now ????"
I couldn't understand the thought quite completely. Does the now mean "Have a nice day now when I'm so much in trouble and work!!?" Or, does it say "Now, what next do I talk?" I mean....couldn't decipher it that well..
ReplyDeleteI appreciate the way you thought about and before the time you interpreted it that way I din't notice that it wasn't that clear and now expect everyone will think it the way you interpreted (normal people do that :))........Ok so its like this...You spend few moments with someone which you know that those moments hasn't gone the way they should have been or the way you desired and at the time of parting that person tells you "Have a nice day" and in the best of the moments you would have said "Ya, You too :)" but since its not preceded by the best of the moments, the only expression that comes to your mind is "NOW??" like after how these moments went,do you expect the remaining of the day to be nice ???..... I know may sound too clumsy but unfortunately its the way it happened.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. So the thought has quite a bit of history behind it. You couldn't have expected ppl to guess that all!! But, I think I'll re-quote one of YOUR quotes in your defence - "People often wonder how I managed to avoid the second path. They don't understand that I never see two paths."
